Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-01
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using ReScanFlow ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Authorized scanning only
You may only scan websites and infrastructure you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Scanning third-party systems without permission may violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) in the United States, the Computer Misuse Act in the UK, and equivalent laws elsewhere. You are solely responsible for confirming you have authorization. We may suspend or terminate accounts that scan unauthorized targets.
3. Account responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
- Provide accurate information.
- You're responsible for activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to attack, deny service to, or otherwise harm any system or person.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls within the service.
- Reverse-engineer or scrape the service for purposes other than your own legitimate use.
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without a written agreement.
- Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.
5. Payments and credits
- Credits purchased are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Credits expire 1 year after purchase if unused.
- Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled.
- Refunds for clearly defective service are evaluated case-by-case — contact billing@rescanflow.com.
- Payments are processed by PayPal; their terms also apply.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, and dependencies on third parties may cause temporary unavailability. Status is published at /status. We do not currently offer a paid SLA.
7. Scan accuracy
Scan findings are heuristic and may include false positives or miss real issues. Use them as a starting point, not as a substitute for a manual security audit, accessibility review by a qualified professional, or legal counsel. We make no warranty that the service will detect every issue.
8. Intellectual property
The service, including code, branding, and report formatting, is owned by ReScanFlow. You retain ownership of the URLs, content, and configurations you submit. By submitting them, you grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the service.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReScanFlow's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, or unauthorized scanning. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; data is handled per the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email and a banner at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ReScanFlow is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
